TelegramThemes ("we", "us") is a free showcase of custom themes for Telegram on Android. This page explains what information we collect when you use telegramthemes.com, and how we handle it.

What we collect

Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. If you sign up with email, we store your email address and a securely hashed password. You choose a public username and can optionally add a display name, bio, and avatar.
Things you do on the site. Ratings, likes, saved boards, comments, and follows are stored with your account so they can be shown on your profile and on themes.
Anonymous usage counts. Theme view counts are counted once per device using your browser's local storage. No personal information is attached to a view.
Preferences. Your chosen site layout and similar settings are kept in your browser's local storage, not on our servers.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your Telegram account, phone number, contacts, or messages. Applying a theme happens entirely inside the official Telegram app through a standard t.me link — we never see anything about your Telegram account.

How we use information

To operate your account, profile, and the social features (ratings, comments, boards, follows).
To show aggregate numbers such as view counts and average ratings.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. There are no ads and no tracking pixels on the site.

Where it's stored

Account data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). The website itself is hosted on Netlify. Sign-in with Google is handled by Google; fonts are served by Google Fonts. Each of these providers processes only what is technically necessary to deliver the service.

Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage for sign-in sessions, your layout preference, and the once-per-device view counter. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Your choices

You can browse and apply every theme without creating an account.
You can edit your profile details at any time from your profile page.
To delete your account and its data, contact us (below) and we will remove it.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
